Flor de Maria Peña has a Masters in Psychology and an extensive background working with migrant, trafficked, and gender based violence victims in Guatemala.  Prior to joining MuJER, Flor worked as a Coordinator for the Project against Trafficking in Guatemala. Since joining MuJER in 2009, Flor has doubled the number of women served by MuJER and she has expanded MuJER’s programs and services. Thanks to Flor, MuJER has been able to assist sex workers in rural communities as well as at-risk women along the Mexican-Guatemalan border.
